The staff of the Center for the Science of Information includes Center Director, Wojciech Szpankowski (See more Director Szpankowski at his faculty profile), Director of Education and Diversity, Brent Ladd, who develops and oversees the Information Frontiers Learning Initiative integrating learning and diversity through new curriculum and multidisciplinary data science and team collaborative training, with efforts to increase the participation of underrepresented groups, Kiya Smith provides administrative assistance for the Center staff, Robynne McCormick provides research accounts and budgeting expertise for the Center, and Managing Director Bob Brown facilitates the Center's nationwide network of researchers and annual reporting.
