CSoI Partners with Info-Metrics Institute on Workshop

The Center is partnering with the Info-Metrics Institute at American University to host an interdisciplinary workshop focused on the most recent research in information metrics taking place online April 8, 2021.

Both faculty and student researchers are invited to submit papers and abstracts for consideration by January 25, 2021. More details on the workshop are available here

Amos Golan, Professor at American University, Director of the Info-Metrics Institute, and Co-Chair for workshop says, "We will have a one-day online workshop to discuss recent advances in info-metrics and information-theoretic inference. The workshop will focus on recent advances, open questions, and directions for future research from an interdisciplinary perspective. The aims of the workshop are to provide a forum for the dissemination of new research in all areas of info-metrics and to stimulate discussion between researchers, and students, across fields."
