    Purdue is hosting the FourthMidwest Membrane Trafficking and Signaling Symposium on campus on October 27 th , 2017 . This is a graduate student/post-doc organized initiative of which I am one of the co-organizers and Dr. Aguilar is our faculty advisor and Purdue liaison.

    This day long symposium is the perfect platform to bring together Midwest researchers whose focus is on membrane biology, trafficking and molecular and computationalsignaling events. The symposium agenda includes two key note addresses by Dr. Peter Novick (UCSD ) and by Dr. Williiam Klein (Northwestern University) , talks by scientists from the Midwest, poster and oral presentations by graduate students and post-docs, and a career discussion panel.\u200bWe encourage all graduates and post-doctorates to submit their abstracts for the poster session as some abstracts will be selected for oral presentations .
