The Center is pleased to announce our summer student research workshop open to all CSoI students. The purposes of the workshop include:

1. Interaction between students and faculty research leaders to learn about and discuss potential Center projects.
2. Foster and support team science
3. Decide on specific interdisciplinary-multinstitutional projects
4. Form project teams and draft seed grant proposals

Lodging and food will be covered by the Center. Travel grants will be awarded to each Center institution. Shortly following the workshop, the Center will provide funding for a select number of student driven collaborative projects. This workshop will serve as catalyst in formulating those projects.
