All faculty, postdocs and student participants are encouraged and welcome to attend. Strong partner representation is vital to a successful visit. Deadline to register is November 4th, 2016.

Students and postdocs: submit a research poster and be prepared to interact with the NSF review team and Center members during the poster session. The poster upload link will be available when you register. Posters can be printed for you at Purdue if you submit your poster file by the deadline of Friday, November 25th, 2016.

Agendas

The site visit will begin at 8:00 a.m. on December 6th and will end by noon on December 7th.
The NSF Site Team Agenda will be posted soon.
**Please note: the Student/Postdoc Research Meeting is only on December 6th.**

Posters

A template for posters is located at the following link: ../resources/posters/csoi-poster-templates/ Please do not alter the size of the poster template; it is specific for our display needs. Posters need to be submitted no later than November 23rd for printing. If you miss the deadline, please submit the electronic file when ready, however you will need to print your own poster and bring it with you to the site visit.

You will be asked if you want to upload a poster when you register

Directions/Map

Travel from Indianapolis airport (approx. 1 hour). 
You may rent a car or use the Lafayette Limo shuttle service http://lafayettelimo.com/Shuttle/Schedule.aspx (Please note Lafayette Limo does not stop at the Hilton Garden Inn, but you can request if they have time for them to do so.  If not, use the drop off for the Purdue Memorial Union and call the Hilton Garden Inn 765-743-2100 for a shuttle to pick you up and transport you to hotel.)

Driving Directions to the Hilton Garden Inn From Indianapolis International Airport - 
Exit the airport and take I-465 north to I-65 north in the direction of Chicago. Follow I-65 for approximately 45 miles. Then take the Indiana State Road 26 exit and turn left. Follow Indiana 26 and cross the Wabash River bridge. The hotel is on the right at the first traffic light.

From I-65 North -
Take exit 172/Indiana 26 west. Follow Indiana 26 west through Lafayette. Cross the Wabash river bridge into West Lafayette. Turn right on Tapawingo Drive. The hotel is on the northwest corner of Indiana 26 and Tapawingo Drive.

Lodging & Meals:

You will need to make your own travel arrangements and room reservations for your stay. Rooms have been reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn, West Lafayette, phone: 765-743-2100. Address: 356 East State Street, West Lafayette, IN 47906 (map), Please refer to "NSF Site visit". DEADLINE FOR RESERVING ROOMS IS NOVEMBER 14th.

Parking is available at the hotel and there will be a shuttle service available to and from campus from the hotel – but if you still would like to bring a car onto campus, please let us know what your campus parking needs are when you register (see link above). You should also let us know at that time if you have any dietary restrictions.

Connect to AT&T (attwifi)
  1. Turn on your device and ensure Wi-Fi is enabled.
  2. Select the 'attwifi' wireless network and click on 'Get Connected.'
  3. Open a Web browser and load or refresh a webpage.

Connect to eduroam
  • click on the wireless network name (SSID) eduroam and join with credentials from your home institution with username@institution.edu and password.
  • A list of US-based and international participants is available on the eduroam website, which also contains details about some schools’ support sites for users.
